Never had a bad time here. They have great food, I ordered buffalo wings and man were they fantastic. Spicy and crispy. Their sandwiches are also great, as well as a lot of the breakfast.
I ordered pink lemonade as my beverage and it was pretty sour (I like sour personally) so if you aren't a fan of a sour flavor maybe stay away from that.
This place has a lot of outlandish foods that are always fun to try now and again. Friendly staff too and a clean place. Would definitely go back.

Excellent Jewish style deli. Pastrami extremely lean. Great sandwiches with cole slaw and pickles. Price is right

Wolfie's is a third generation family New York style deli restaurant on Rt. 37, Bayville, right outside of Toms River, NJ.  In its fifty years of operation it has perfected certain aspects of the Jewish-style Big Apple deli emporium; in particular its homemade corned beef hash has a deserved reputation as being among the best in the business.

So, that's what I had for breakfast with a sunnyside-up egg on top for mixing into the chopped corned beef, potatoes, onions and spices. At $6.50 it was quite the deal. However, I found it so meaty and savory that it was almost overwhelming. I decided to mix it with the side of home fries on the plate, which made the taste much more palatable for me. As blended, I really enjoyed the meal, with strong coffee and rye toast.

The physical plant is clean and bright given its age entering its sixth decade.  Service was friendly and always ready to refill my "Wolfies" mug. They are proud of their roots.  As they proclaim on their coffee mugs: "If Pastrami Was a Religion, We Would Be the Temple."

Not sure smoked meats should ever be considered a religious experience, but even if it is found to be more mundane, Wolfies is the place to satisfy that craving in this part of the Universe.

I am always in the lookout for a good Jewish deli... not because I'm Jewish but because I love pastrami and corned beef. Walking in the feel wasn't the style I'm used to it was a little dirty and didn't have a case full of Hebrew cuisine but I eat out of halal carts in Harlem so I could honestly care less about what it looks like as long as the food is good. I love knish... always have always will, they have the square style which is hard to mess up (most are frozen) but it was really good. I got a pastrami sandwich and to be honest the only problem I have was the meat was a little dry for my liking ... kinda like it was sitting out all day or reheated from the day before and same with the bread. I'm all about budgeting but for a restaurant it's not ok. I got it to go so next time I go back (which I definitely will) I will sit down and eat. The sandwich was affordable too, the quantity of meat was well worth the 9-10 bucks.
